"I created this tool to empower people. There's nothing more liberating than understanding what your savings will grow to — it can shape your decisions and let you find true financial independence."— Dan, creator of Lifetime Wealth Planner
Two views of the same plan: the year-by-year table, traceable figure by figure, and the Monte Carlo run that shows whether it holds up when markets don't cooperate.
Everything that decides the answer and is painful to keep correct by hand — what you spend, what you earn, what each account returns, and the tax rules moving underneath all of it — modeled precisely and projected forward every year of your plan.
Raises that stop when you choose, a planned part-time downshift, business income on its own schedule. Social Security estimated from your wage history or your own statement. Tips and overtime taxed correctly. Plus a line for money that doesn't arrive on schedule — bonuses, equity, consulting.
Set what you spend today and the rate it escalates — then let health insurance premiums, medical costs, and childcare grow at their own pace instead of one blanket inflation rate. One-off years for a car or renovation are entered when they're expected to happen.
Federal bracket thresholds, the standard deduction, and IRMAA tiers all inflate forward at the rate you set, year by year through the whole plan — not a 2026 tax code snapshot that goes stale.
Stop working before 65 and you're buying your own coverage until Medicare starts — often the number that decides whether early retirement is possible. Premiums switch automatically at retirement, then again at 65 for Medicare, Medigap or Advantage, and IRMAA surcharges.
Your 401(k), Roth, brokerage, and crypto each carry their own return and risk, with a de-risking glidepath after a year you choose. Monte Carlo runs thousands of market paths against your real strategy — exposing the risk your plan actually carries.
Every field starts with a sensible default, so a rough pass takes minutes and still tells you where you stand — on track or not. When you're ready to sharpen it, Guided Setup walks through every number that matters — income, balances, Social Security, your mortgage — one topic at a time, in plain language.
Not everything gets a headline. All of this is modeled properly too, because leaving any of it out means a less certain answer.
IRA contribution limits & phase-outs, backdoor Roth, Roth conversions (bracket/IRMAA/senior-deduction aware), inherited accounts (10-year rule), annuities & QLACs.
Business income & self-employment tax, tips & overtime deduction, pensions & cash balance plans, Social Security taxation, and government-employee scenarios.
Life insurance payouts, primary home + second property, other debt & charitable giving (QCDs).
Crypto holdings, HSAs & 529s (incl. non-qualified sweep), capital gains bracket-stacking, temporary tax provisions with real sunset dates.
You know your account balances, your income, your goals — that's never been the hard part. What's missing is a decades-long projection of how those assets actually grow, one that stays correct as the tax rules and the returns shift underneath it every year.
Most planning tools ask you to upload your income, balances, and Social Security numbers to a server you'll never see. This one doesn't — it runs entirely in your browser, and nothing you enter is ever transmitted anywhere.

Less than a single month of most subscription planning tools — paid once, not every month.
No. Most inputs start at zero until you touch them, so filling in just the essentials — your age, rough balances, what you spend — is enough to get a directional answer in a few minutes. For the trickier inputs, the tool doesn't leave you guessing: it offers guidance and reasonable starting points (like benchmark health-cost estimates) to help you fill them in soundly. Add detail whenever you have it — a more exact salary, your actual account returns, your mortgage — and the projection sharpens.
There's no account to save progress to, either. Your numbers stay in the file itself, so you can always come back and pick up where you left off.
You have 14 days to decide. If the planner isn't what you hoped, email sales@lifetime-wealth-planner.com within 14 days of your purchase and we'll refund the full price — no questions asked. Your access ends once the refund goes through. Details are in our Terms.
Yes — this tool is built specifically around the US tax code and isn't set up to model any other country's rules. It projects federal income tax brackets, the standard deduction, IRMAA (Medicare's income-based surcharge), Social Security taxation, RMDs (required minimum distributions), 401(k)/IRA/Roth treatment, and other US-specific provisions like the OBBBA senior deduction. If you're not a US taxpayer, the underlying tax logic won't reflect your situation.
The individual numbers — this year's brackets, this year's IRMAA tiers — aren't hard to look up. What's hard is correctly modeling how they all move relative to each other for 20–30 years: bracket creep against a fixed OBBBA sunset, a two-year IRMAA lookback, a senior-deduction phase-out interacting with your Roth conversion sizing. That's a lot of interacting formulas to keep right by hand, every year, indefinitely.
And that's the easier half. Even a flawless spreadsheet gives you one answer built on one assumed rate of return. Running the same plan a thousand times against random markets — each run hitting the brackets and IRMAA tiers differently, each account varying at its own volatility — is not something a spreadsheet does. It's also where the answer that actually matters lives: not what your net worth will be, but how likely the plan is to hold.
Yes, it runs in any modern browser, so a tablet or Mac/Windows PC all work well — on the same $79, not a separate app to buy. A phone technically works too, but the year-by-year table has dozens of columns, so it's a poor fit for a small screen; we'd point you to a tablet or computer for any real session, and treat a phone as a last resort.
One thing to know regardless of device: your data lives only in that one browser, so it doesn't automatically appear on a second device or a second browser. We'd recommend picking one device as your main one rather than switching between several — if you do need to move between devices, use Export data on one and Import data on the other to keep both in sync; skipping that step is the most common way people end up with two out-of-date copies of their plan.
Every threshold is sourced to its statutory basis in a comment right beside it, and the build date is stamped in the header, so you always know which year's rules you're starting from.
The starting point matters less than you'd expect, though, because the thresholds don't stay put. Brackets, the standard deduction and IRMAA tiers all inflate forward year by year at a rate you set — so a 2026 baseline is still producing sensible numbers in 2040, rather than pretending the tax code was frozen the day you bought this. Where the law says a threshold does not inflate, the tool holds it fixed: the OBBBA provisions keep their real 2025–2028 amounts and then correctly disappear in 2029.
Nobody knows what the 2041 brackets will be. But an estimate that moves with inflation is far closer to right than this year's numbers hard-coded into every future row — which is what the alternative usually looks like.
Yes — and the way to do it is by reading the numbers, not the code. Under the charts is a row for every year of your plan and 75 columns behind it: total income, MAGI, taxable income, federal, state and local tax, the RMD taken, the conversion made, the IRMAA surcharge, Part B and Medigap, medical out-of-pocket, every account balance, home equity and the mortgage. Hide columns to follow one thread at a time, switch between a client-facing view and full detail, and leave a note on any year.
The check that matters isn't the net-worth number in 2040 — it's the years leading to it. Does the tax bill jump the year conversions start? Does the IRMAA surcharge land two years after the income that caused it, rather than the same year? Does spending fall when the mortgage is paid off, then rise at 65 when Medicare premiums begin? If the middle years behave the way you'd expect, the ending is worth trusting. If one of them doesn't, you've found either a wrong assumption or a mistyped input — and you can see the exact year it starts.
A single projected figure is easy to produce and impossible to check. A table you can read line by line is the point. For a plain-language walkthrough of how each calculation actually works — taxes, Social Security, IRMAA, Roth conversions, Monte Carlo — see our Methods page.
There is no password to create. You sign in with the email address you bought with — we send a link, you click it, and you stay signed in on that device. We never connect to your bank or investment accounts, and nothing you enter is uploaded anywhere: every number stays in your own browser unless you export it yourself.
Sign in on the new one with the same email address — your plan isn't stored on our server, so bring your data over with it: use Export data on the old device and Import data on the new one. See the Support page for the full walkthrough.
No. It's a modeling tool that applies current published tax rules and the assumptions you enter so you can explore scenarios yourself. It's not a substitute for a CPA, tax attorney, or financial advisor.
One purchase, no subscription, easy input, nothing leaves your computer — modeling a net-worth number alone can't give you.
